Fortunately, the rows of vines in our sloping, south-facing vineyard yield vermentino, ciliegiolo and abrusco nero grapes.
No chemical products are used in the vineyard and our wines – the red, Vino Rosso del Guardia and the white, Il Vignino – are produced in a organic manner in the winery which is barely a stone’s throw away.
A chilled glass of Il Vignino is a refreshing accompaniment for long, summer lunches and, in winter when evenings arrive all too soon, it telegraphs the eventual arrival of longer days. Our Vino Rosso del Guardia is a reliable and elegant standby for pastas, pizzas and hearty meat dishes.
