Lavender

No fragrance is identified more closely with the Mediterranean than lavender. The long purple stems that wave in gentle breezes and are a favorite pitstop for bees, are densely planted on terraces below Borgo Pignano’s infinity pool, in our field of swales and near our olive groves. The scent of these plants makes it easy to understand why the Greeks and Romans used it to perfume their baths. Our levendar is air dried to preserve the natural fragrance and bundled into sachets that can help create a gentle atmosphere in a room or wardrobe. We also use lavander as an ingredient in our oils and waters.
