Millefiori Honey

Twice a year, in spring and summer, the hives that are scattered around Borgo Pignano’s estate buzz with bees at work. The scents and fragrances from the blossoms and blooms of nearby plants and trees ferried to these hives by the bees give our Organic Millefiori Honey its distinctive taste. The virgin honey is removed from the honeycombs and, without any heat treatment, is poured into attractive jars. Our hives are positioned to provide the bees with ample space to roam. This helps make them more resistant to disease and contributes to their health – a vital part of nature’s balance.
